August 13, 2010 (New York, NY) – Father-raping psychopath Chris Fuchman moved to Winnipeg today. The team at Astron-6 has just begun principal photography for the Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz-produced socio-political shocker FATHER’S DAY in the Canadian city! FATHER’S DAY is guaranteed to be one of the most original, disturbing and socially significant Troma films ever. “All I can say” states Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman, when asked about the script, “is that you better keep your father safe!”
Astron-6 is the brainchild of Matthew Kennedy, Conor Sweeney, Jeremy Gillespie, Steven Kostanski and Adam Brooks, five Canadian filmmakers with a taste for the Tromatic. Brooks stated that “working with Troma has been a dream come true!” citing Troma’s willingness to defer to Astron-6’s vision in creating an old school exploitation flick. This issue of artistic freedom will be tackled in the FATHER’S DAY script as contemporary issues of net neutrality will be mixed in with the Troma brand of shit-disturbing filmmaking.
Those of you able to watch the unedited trailer may go here, but be warned: it is VERY NSFW. A mild version can be found here instead.
